AIM

This 30-hour construction safety course was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor to provide general industry workers, supervisors and other personnel responsible for general industry activities with an awareness of general industry safety and health concerns in the construction industry.  This course is designed for supervisory personnel, managers, and crew leaders.

  • Walking and Working Surfaces
  • Personal Protective & Lifesaving Equipment
  • Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans
  • Fire Prevention Plans and Fire Protection
  • Electrical
  • Hazard Communication
  • Materials Handling
  • 4 Additional Electives will be offered

DURATION

30 Hours

PREREQUISITES

  • A statement of health form (completed on first day of course)

COURSE COMPLETION

All persons who successfully complete the program based on performance standards will receive an OSHA certificate of completion and card.
