AIM

This course is designed to comply with the requirements of OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.146, Permit Required Confined Spaces.  This course includes hands on training, review of air monitoring equipment, and proper ventilation procedures for an entrant and attendant for confined spaces.

• OSHA Standard for Permit Required Confined Spaces
• Non-permit versus Permit Required Confined Spaces
• Hazard Recognition, Evaluation and Control
• Physical hazards, health hazards, hazardous atmospheres, oxygen deficient atmospheres, and oxygen enriched atmospheres

DURATION

8 Hours

PREREQUISITES

• A statement of health form (completed on first day of course)

COURSE COMPLETION

All persons who successfully complete the program based on performance standards will receive an OSHA certificate of completion and card.
