SS-C-041    HAZWOPER Refresher Training

AIM

This course provides employees with the training necessary to respond to an incident at a First Responder Awareness level.  All employees who may be the first to discover an incident involving the release of a hazardous substance will benefit from this program.  Complies with OSHA 1910.120.

CONTENT

• Learn to recognize presence of hazardous substances
• Understand correct methods for securing area
• Notify appropriate emergency response agencies

DURATION

8 Hours

PREREQUISITES

• A statement of health form (completed on first day of course)
• Must have completed 40-hour hazwoper course within previous year to be eligible for refresher

COURSE COMPLETION

All persons who successfully complete the program based on performance standards will receive an OSHA certificate of completion and card.
