Land Survival Course:

Aim:
To provide aviation personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to react quickly and effectively to an emergency, care for themselves in a survival situation, and participate in their own rescue.

Content:
This one day course consists of both classroom and outdoor training including:

• Physical and psychological stress


• Introduction to survival techniques and equipment


• Environmental hazards


• First aid, Food and water procurement


• Shelters, Fire starting


• Signaling devices, Rescue techniques
