Patient Evacuation Course
Aim:
This program is designed to provide air medical personnel with the
knowledge and skills necessary to react effectively to an emergency
in the water, extract an on-board patient from a submerged aircraft,
and to participate to the maximum extent in their own rescue and
continue to provide care for their patient in a water survival
situation.
This program is usually delivered with the Emergency Breathing
Systems Course, however air medical personnel who have completed the
Aircraft Ditching and Water Survival Course may attempt it as a
breath-hold skill.

demonstrations and practical exercises to achieve these objectives:
