Survival Systems USA conducts training in accordance with CDC Guidelines and the Department of Homeland Security’s Critical Infrastructure Workforce Guidelines. As we continue to deliver lifesaving training, we stay committed to creating a healthy and safe environment for clients and our team. Our risk mitigation procedures include:

 

Before Training, We Verify Clients and Team Members:

 

  • Pass a 30-day exposure and symptom screening before admitted to training
  • Have not been in contact with someone confirmed or suspected of COVID-19
  • Have not been advised to stay home by a medical professional due to illness

 

On-site Training or Training at Your Location:

 

  • We offer a live online classroom option with the opportunity to complete the hands-on portion of training at a later time
  • Our team researches and complies with personal protective equipment, physical distancing, and testing protocols in accordance with CDC Guidelines, location specific state and local laws, and client specific protocols
  • Facility layout supports six feet of physical distance between attendees
  • Facility disinfection includes cleaning of all contact surfaces twice per day
  • Attendees wear a cloth face covering that allows breathing without restriction

 

COVID-19 Transmission:

 

If you are concerned about transmission through water, CDC guidance states, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools, hot tubs or spas, or water playgrounds. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools, hot tubs or spas, and water playgrounds should inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”
