Offshore Wind Training

"Water survival training is critical for Vineyard Wind's workforce. Our team is prepared for all aspects of a water emergency thanks to Survival Systems USA in Groton, CT." - Vineyard Wind

“Very effective and fast-paced course covering the essentials needed for HUET for offshore wind” - Lucas, Installation Engineer

"I would like to capture several of the points that, in my mind, set apart Survival Systems USA HUET training from other providers. First, the quality of the trainers, both for the classroom portion and the practical course elements. Even though it has been more than ten years since I attended the offshore survival training course at your facility, I distinctly recall that the presenters during the classroom phase were well-versed in the material and didn't merely read the projected slides...they actually taught and presented relevant material beyond the slide information. Second, the METS® training was very realistic.  In addition to going through a wide variety of realistic ditching scenarios, the in-water instructors helped trainees with technique and other situational challenges. With the increase in offshore activity on the east coast associated with large-scale wind farm development and operation, the need for offshore workers to receive high-quality training will substantially increase in the near future." - John Roth
