GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) Training
This GWO module enables participants working in a remote wind turbine environment to administer safe, effective, and immediate lifesaving measures using advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation. GWO certified through ENSA.
• Anatomy, injury, and illnesses
• Management of an incident and national emergency response
• Medical teleconsultation
• Enhanced first aid using primary and secondary survey
• Pain management and further possible medication
• Advanced first aid techniques
Initial: Twenty-one (21) Hours | 3 Days
Refresher (with valid FA, or FA-R, or EFA, or EFA-R): Fourteen (14) Hours | 2 Days

Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age for full participation and certification. Participants under the age of 18 require parental consent.
Participants engage in rigorous activity and should be in a good state of health, physically capable of fully taking part in all course exercises.
Participants need work boots and a photo ID. We provide all other equipment.
Book training calendar seats on a first-come, first-served basis.
All participants who complete the EFA program in accordance with the learning and performance objectives receive completion certificate(s) and GWO (WINDA) credit(s) (24-mo expiry).
The EFA module teaches advanced lifesaving measures exceeding those of GWO FA 2002 Medic First Aid + Trauma.
Basic modules: GWO BST-1005 Program, Work at Height (WAH 1002), Manual Handling (MH 102), First Aid (FA 2002), Fire Awareness (FAW 101), Sea Survival (GWO SS), GWO Refreshers
